The Salamanders Band is a professional band based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. We travel across the country to provide fun, family-friendly, engaging entertainment for city celebrations and festivals of all sizes.
Our highly talented singers and musicians play favorites in every genre and decade for a truly inclusive set list that has something for everyone.

Do you travel?
Absolutely! The Salamanders Band has traveled across the country to provide live band entertainment for city celebrations large and small. While we are located in Salt Lake City, Utah, we will happily travel for your event. Our travel fees are reasonable so we can provide high-quality, engaging music without blowing your budget!
Do you provide lights and sound?
Yes! We are happy to provide lights and sound for your city event, although we’re also happy to work with your existing crew if you already have one.
What happens if a band member gets sick last minute?
We will never leave you hanging! We have several contingency plans in place in case of emergency. We rarely have mishaps occur, but when we do, we’re able to make adjustments so no one in at your city celebration will notice that anything went wrong. As professionals in the music industry, we have a huge network of musicians to provides subs whenever and wherever needed, and while such emergencies rarely happen, we are also able to make down-to-the-minute adjustments to setlists and performances to compensate for missing musicians or one of our singers losing their voice.
How much does hiring a live band for a city celebration cost?
The Salamanders performs for city celebrations large AND small across the United States. We’ve performed for celebrations with only a thousand or so attendees, and as large as tens of thousands.
